Las Piñatas is a collaboration between two friends to handcraft the cutest and most unique piñatas in Vancouver. Our goal is to bring joy and happiness to people through a fun experience of smashing piñatas while gathered by friends and family. As Creative Director, I am mostly responsible for all things branding, marketing and social media but we work collaboratively in all aspects of our business.
We have been featured in publications such as Montecristo Magazine, hired by the Vancouver International Airport and have showcased our piñata designs at various local markets like Car Free Day, East Side Flea Market and Market Mexico.
The Whitecaps FC 2018 Campaign communicates the energetic connection between players, fans and the city of Vancouver. By bringing our fans and players together, we show our passion for unity and our readiness for new challenges ahead.
The 2016 campaign for the Vancouver Whitecaps FC was inspired by the new jersey which translated geography into gradient.
Beginning with the dark Pacific water, deep-sea blue ripples up the kit, creating a brilliant blend of new blues before eventually transforming into sky blue, replicating the city’s Sea to Sky horizon. Rooted within the jersey are several Whitecaps FC peaks that sit behind the pattern, similar to the white-capped mountains that sit silently in Vancouver’s skyline.

The Owner’s Circle is an exclusive branch of the Vancouver Whitecaps FC family that offers the most specialty service, access and privileges for its members.
I was responsible for designing the logo and brand identity of Owner’s Circle as well as providing graphic support to developer to build the website. I monitor most marketing materials and merchandise design for the Owner’s Circle brand.

The University of Calgary hired me to redesign their logo for ITP Metrics. This is a free online teamwork and behavioural assessment platform, backed by research, for building self-awareness, teamwork capacity, and overall effectiveness.
The original logo was complicated and the brand colours were inconsistent. The client requested to streamline the logo while keeping it fresh and flexible to use in various marketing materials. I designed two logos, one for the overall platform (ITP Metrics) and one for the team that runs the platform (ITP Lab). Both logos worked in isolation but sustained a similar colour scheme while incorporating similar graphical elements.

FIFA 15 Holiday Creative
EA SPORTS FIFA's holiday campaign was one of the most engaging milestones of the year. With over 20 million Facebook fans, 2.5 Twitter followers and 1 million Instagram followers, I was responsible for designing all holiday visuals for FIFA 15's holiday campaign. This holiday campaign reached some of the highest fan engagement among all EA SPORTS franchises. ---

For FIFA 15, I was responsible for the design and execution of all global collateral assets for digital and social media channels. The graphics I designed were featured on all EA SPORTS FIFA social and web channels as well as partner clubs’ channels such as Chelsea FC and AC Milan, among others.

FIFA World Cup 2014
2014 FIFA World Cup Brazil from EA SPORTS was a unique opportunity to excite fans during the most watched event in the world. In addition to all franchise marketing material including website banners, social media banners and other collateral material, I created a few digital wallpapers for different nations as well as a printable World Cup bracket, which was implemented as an interactive bracket on the EA SPORTS FIFA website.

When working on FIFA 14, we had the challenge of showcasing the new generation of games with the release of Xbox One and Playstation 4, while continue to target our loyal fans using old consoles. All collateral material I designed was applied equally for both Gen 3 and Gen 4 generations of consoles.
For FIFA 14, I created all in-game screenshots, infographics, digital wallpapers, advertising banners, event murals as well as website designs for partner brands. I also provide support to the development team with in-game screens for different modes such as Football Club and Career Mode.

As a personal project, I created a website that combined my love for drawing with my passion for football. From wireframing to final implementation using manual coding, I used a range of functions such as three-column CSS-based layouts, interactive forms, horizontal and vertical navigations, hyperlinks, CSS styling, tables as well as SEO techniques.

Run Lola Run Poster
This poster of the film Run Lola Run was a contribution I did for an art show called Paper Cinematheque. The concept behind it relates to the theme prominent in the film of how destiny can be altered by chance, and people being able to take ownership of that destiny to arrive to where they want to go. The maze reflects the chaotic atmosphere presented in the film, while becoming a major part of Lola's thoughts in her head.
